Excellent School with Christian Garweg!
September 21, 2012 by
I had a great time catching up with Christian today! I brought one of my clients horses and he was great! Christian was very happy with the progress Carlton had made in the short time since the last clinic. His changes are getting quite solid and his overall cadence and suppleness is lovely!
I always take so much away from riding in these clinics as well as watching. I learned a great exercise for teaching a horse, who would prefer to passage in the piaffe, to sit and carry without pushing off of the hind leg and using the suspension of the passage to disengage behind. Very interesting ideas and as always, the proof is in the pudding and it worked!
I will be sure to post the dates for the next clinic. He usually visits every 5 to 6 weeks. I encourage you to come and audit or better yet, come and school with him! If anyone is interested in attending the next clinic, please contact me.

Christian Garweg Clinic

On Sept. 20th I will be attending a clinic with German trainer Christian Garweg. I was unable to ride in the last clinic with Christian as the timing with the last clinic coincided with the Cornerstone Farms show that was held at the Essa Agriplex. I have been working regularly with Christian for over a year now and really enjoy his enthusiasm, creativity and solid German training background. Looking forward to it!
